A hot cup of coffee and a moment of peace? Creme De La Crema is the place to be.

The store is run by barista Michael Van de Moortel and his wife Cynthia Jacobs, a designer of accessories and various interior objects. Together they have merged their passion and craftmanship, product and nature in a magical place, coffee lab Crème De La Crema. 

The setting? A contemporary ‘coffee lab’ and gallery with an advice and training centre for all kinds of lovers of craftmanship and ‘speciality’ coffees.

Our input

Fastbranding was tasked with creating a clear and structured website. This site needed to convey Creme De la Crema’s story and to provide an opportunity to offer visitors their specialty coffee. 

We represented the thoughts and elements of the couple’s life story as much as possible into a beautiful whole, one comprehensive set that serves to guide the visitor and explain what is to be discovered. 

At Fastbranding, we build sites by capturing a well-chosen sitemap that works as the framework of the final result. From there, we determine which topics should be included. Your website is your online business card, so it should be well maintained both in terms of content and appearance.

In addition to the persuasive factor, adding a web shop provided an extra selling point. In a virtual web store, people order their products without having to be present in the story itself. This is a big bonus for coffee lovers who live too far away from the coffee bar’s physical location or do not find the time to visit.
